the man behind the lens

Thomas Veli is an Asian American freelance photographer and filmmaker from Seattle, Washington. Veli is also an upcoming hip-hop music artist and producer.

 

In November 2010, Veli was gifted with his first DSLR camera by his father. For the first 6 years of Veli's freelance career, the Canon Rebel T3i had been the weapon of choice to help bring his visions to reality. Veli now currently uses the Canon 80D to capture his visions along with the Rode VideoMicro for enhanced audio recording.

 

Before Veli was gifted with his first camera, he had already been practicing with his cousin’s Canon Rebel T2i. The passion first began in 2009 when Veli's friends from high school would ask him to take their senior photos for the school year book. Veli would spend hours after school learning how to take photos by watching YouTube videos and practicing with his friends and family. After given many positive feedback on his photography skills, Veli decided to turn his hobby into a side hustle.

Since early 2013, Veli has been building his professional photography and film portfolio. With 8 years of photography practices, 5 years of professional photography experience, and 3 years of film production experience, Veli and his clients are highly confident in the photography and film skills he has accumulated over the years.
